Even the little ones are happy to discover the world again. However, travelling with children in times like these, might raise more questions than usual. Below, you'll find answers to the ones that are most frequently asked.

There are several opportunities to use the disinfectant dispensers at the airport. On board, antiviral disinfecting wipes will be distributed. You’re welcome to bring additional disinfectants, if they do not exceed the limitations for liquids in your carry-on baggage (less than 100 ml per container, with a maximum of one liter per person).
Yes, there will still be blankets and headphones on long-haul flights, however, pillows will not be available at this time.
On these flights, blankets will only be distributed in Business Class and only on overnight flights.
Snacks will be distributed on flights that are between 151 and 179 minutes in length. If your flight is longer than 50 minutes, you’ll receive a water bottle on board. The full onboard service will take place on flights longer than 150 minutes. Our service frequency has not changed.
If you are travelling with children under the age of six, you’ll be eligible for pre-boarding. Please tell us in advance if you would like to take advantage of this option.
Travelling with babies and toddlers
Yes, baby food is still available on board.
There aren’t any additional hygiene products available at the changing tables, however, disinfectant wipes will be distributed among all guests in the beginning of the flight.

Travelling with children
Children under the age of six are allowed to travel without wearing a face mask, however, older children must wear a face mask at the airport and on board.
Please note that it is obligatory to wear a medical protective mask in airport shops, when using airport transport and sometimes also in the terminal facilities. Only facemasks of the following standards will be permitted: FFP2, KN95 and N95 standard or surgical masks. Masks made of fabric will no longer be permitted, visors and masks with valves have not been permitted already.

Children's and baby menus are available as usual on most flights, however, there are exceptions on some of our routes, like between India and Dubai, for example.

Unfortunately, an Unaccompanied Minor Service for connecting flights is not yet available. Should you already have a confirmed booking including Unaccompanied Minor Service for your child on connecting flights, you are kindly asked to contact the Service Center immediately.
