Walls of water – the Iguazú Falls

Experience the raw power of nature up close, surrounded by vibrant jungle and iridescent rainbows – these are the moments that will stay with you forever and that you will encounter at Iguazú Falls. The air vibrates. The thunder of the water is omnipresent and the fine spray settles on your face like a fog. Yes – this is pure nature.

82 meters high, 150 meters wide, 700 meters long: dare to look into the Garganta del Diablo, the Devil's Gorge. A large part of the individual falls converges in this gorge. Accompanied by the deep roar of the waterfalls, the panorama of the vibrant jungle and the iridescent rainbows, there is probably no other place on earth where the raw power and beauty of nature are as evident as here. The Iguazú Falls are a UNESCO World Heritage Site for good reason.

Adventure under the stars – in harmony with the elements of Norway

The awe-inspiring, mystical spectacle in the northern sky is a wonder to behold! Known by many names, such as polar lights, aurora borealis, or northern lights, it's a natural phenomenon that can't be missed. Norway, especially the northern regions, is the perfect place to experience this breathtaking natural display under the open sky. The season lasts until the end of March and then again from September, so there's plenty of time to plan your trip. The northern lights will be more intense than they have been for a long time until 2026. So, seize the moment and experience the boundless starry sky and incredible colors moving across the Arctic sky.

And even if the Northern Lights are taking a break, in Norway – from Stavanger to Tromsø to Alta – you are always at one with nature. Whatever your heart desires: hiking across the Hardangervidda, surfing on the Norwegian beaches, kayaking through the dramatic Trollfjord, moose safaris in Vesterålen north of the Arctic Circle or whale watching off the Lofoten Islands: Norway is one big natural experience that is deeply moving and has a lasting effect.

Back to the roots – prairie life

Horseback instead of car seat. Sunrise instead of screensaver. Just “back to the roots” and away from mass tourism, leave the stress of everyday life far behind you at a ranch in the USA. Drink coffee on the wooden veranda, listen to the clatter of horses' hooves and the calls of the ranchers. Yes, that's how the day can start! Ride through wide prairies, explore untouched forests and observe the rich wildlife. Afterwards, the day ends with music, stories and a homemade dinner around the campfire – the perfect end to a day full of adventure.

Working ranches, cattle drives, pack trips – explore breathtaking areas such as the famous Yellowstone National Park, the wide open spaces of Texas, and enjoy a unique blend of relaxation and adventure – the perfect retreat for nature and animal lovers.

Fire, ice and magical moments – volcanoes in Iceland

Step on long-frozen lava and conquer the peaks of once-mighty volcanoes. Yes. Experience a piece of Earth's history with every step you take in Island. With volcanoes like monuments watching over the landscape and geysers shooting boiling water into the air with unbridled force, nowhere else can you get so close to the planet's powerful energy.

Want to see more? No problem. You can get up close to the craters on a hike or by helicopter. The seething magma, the crackling of the cooling rock and the vastness of the island – pure excitement. And then: majestic works of icy nature. A tour of the crystal blue ice cave in the Vatnajökull glacier or the path through the famous Katla ice caves – geological adventures unlike any other in the world – simply magical.

The beginning of life – sea turtles on the beaches of Costa Rica

The sand on the beach of the Osa Peninsula moves as if by magic, and a small, fragile creature breaks through the ground. A newly hatched sea turtle bravely makes its way to the ocean. And you? You get to experience this fascinating natural spectacle up close, without getting too close to the turtles – in Costa Rica, nature is respected, and you can feel it everywhere. December to May is the best time to watch the little turtle babies hatch. About 45 to 60 days earlier, there was another natural phenomenon to observe: the olive ridley sea turtles laying their eggs.

The Osa Peninsula, located in the far southwest of the country, is almost completely covered by untouched forests – one of the most beautiful rainforest destinations in the world, where you can go on a discovery tour in a region with the greatest biodiversity on the entire American continent. Corcovado National Park, in particular, with its 13 ecosystems, allows you to feel the power of life. From coral reefs and sea turtles to tapirs and anteaters, it is a place where you can experience nature up close.
