The travel times for your train journey shown on your itinerary do not represent valid connections. You are free to choose your train connection – you will find suitable train connections on Deutsche Bahn’s website.
By booking via lufthansa.com
Following your online booking at lufthansa.com, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to your train ticket. Please print out this ticket and remember to take it with you on the train, along with the means of identification you entered during the booking.
When booking through a travel agency or the Lufthansa Service Center
you will receive your Rail&Fly ticket via rail check-in. For this, enter your first name and surname as well as the eticket number or booking code. You can then choose a suitable train connection; the ticket can, however, still be used flexibly on the selected day on the selected route without a specific train connection.
You can also use the Rail&Fly service as a family. Please note that only one Rail&Fly online ticket will be issued for all travellers.
Young passengers can enjoy the Deutsche Bahn entertainment programme on board the train.
For joint bookings for several passengers, only one Rail&Fly online ticket is generated. In this case, all the passengers must travel on the same train.
You may check in for your Lufthansa flight from 23 hours before departure, either from your PC or via your smartphone. Take your baggage on to the train with you and check it in at one of the Lufthansa bag drop-off counters at the airport.
Our aim is to look after your needs as individually and comprehensively as possible – please therefore let us know your requirements, ideally at the time of booking.
If you are travelling with a wheelchair, a member of staff from the DB passenger information desk will accompany you to your train seat 30 minutes before the train departs. Upon your arrival, a member of our customer service team will take you to your departure gate.
Please note: Unfortunately, you will not be able to travel with Rail&Fly if you require a medical escort or must be transported lying down.
Please direct enquiries about rebooking and cancelling your Rail&Fly ticket only to the Service Center. Please note that refunds of the Rail&Fly ticket price in the event of cancellations are only possible when certain conditions exist.
At the current time, no cross-border Lufthansa Express Rail connections are available. If you wish to travel by train to Frankfurt from another European country, please book this through Deutsche Bahn or the train company of the country from which you are travelling.
