From as early as 23 hours before departure you can check in with your smartphone, reserve your seat and receive your mobile boarding pass. Simply enter LH.com in your mobile phone’s browser or use the Lufthansa app.
Please be aware of the check-in deadlines – the times by when you must be in possession of your boarding pass and have checked in your baggage. These deadlines vary from airport to airport.

The mobile boarding pass
You will receive your mobile boarding pass after mobile check-in and also after online check-in if you request it. After the confirmation ‘You are checked in’, the mobile boarding pass will be sent directly to your smartphone by email or SMS link.

The mobile boarding pass is available on all routes from Germany. It is also available from many international destinations worldwide.

After receiving your mobile boarding pass you can manage and use this offline if you have the Lufthansa app, the iOS Wallet or the Samsung Wallet for Android feature.
If you have problems with your mobile boarding pass
Should you have any problems with your mobile boarding pass you can, of course, collect a conventional boarding pass from a check-in machine or from a Lufthansa check-in counter at the airport. The same applies if, for example, your mobile phone’s battery is flat or you have inadvertently deleted your mobile boarding pass.
Quicker on board – with or without baggage
Save valuable time with your mobile boarding pass: if you are travelling with carry-on baggage only, you can go straight to security and then proceed to your gate. If you have other bags, you can simply check these in on the way to your gate at one of the designated Lufthansa baggage drop-off counters or at the self-service baggage check-in kiosks.
