Menus on short and medium-haul flights

Outstanding cuisine even above the clouds

#WeCare – so you can fly with no worries

In order to minimize contact between people on board, our current in-flight service has been adapted and simplified.

Both in Business and in Economy Class we always want to bring you welcome surprises. With fresh and varied food and a wide selection of beverages, Lufthansa fulfils your wishes during the flight.

Our cuisine in Business Class

Culinary experiences and attentive service – that is what distinguishes Lufthansa Business Class. On board we offer high-quality, varied and fresh meals, served on fine china tableware, on all routes.

Good food demands excellent wine: choose from our wide selection of exclusive wines and beverages and enjoy them served in stylish wine glasses.

Food and beverages in Economy Class

Service and quality are our priorities on board Lufthansa flights. In Economy Class – depending on the length of your flight – you will be provided with snacks, sandwiches or hot meals.* The meals on these routes do not contain pork.

Coffee, white wine or the universally popular tomato juice – on board Lufthansa flights you can expect an extensive selection of free beverages.* You can choose between hot and cold, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Depending on the length of your flight, beverages will be served several times; on request you can also have drinks brought to your seat between services.

Please note

Starting in spring 2021, you will be able to purchase a broad selection of high-quality foods and beverages on board of short and medium-haul routes.

Special meals

Lufthansa offers you a wide selection of special meals, prepared according to your individual wishes and lifestyles.

* Due to the short flight duration, on particularly short routes (e.g. Frankfurt–Luxembourg) there will be no in-flight service. This applies to both meals and beverages.
