What is Cash & Miles?
Cash & Miles enables Miles & More members to redeem award miles for the full or partial amount of all Lufthansa, Star Alliance, Eurowings and Eurowings Discover flights booked at Lufthansa.com. It is available to all service classes. The air fare is calculated based on the total ticket price, including taxes, fees and surcharges. Even if you do not have enough miles for a flight award in your personal mileage account, you can redeem the miles you have earned to date for part of the price of the flight.
Of course, the attractive flight awards in the Miles & More programme also remain available.
Cash & Miles is an additional option for redeeming miles. Best of all, you earn new miles on every flight.

The air fare is calculated based on the total ticket price, including taxes, fees and surcharges. Cash & Miles cannot be used to purchase upgrades. These can be purchased as usual by booking an upgrade directly via Miles & More at www.miles-and-more.com.
We provide attractive flight offers for a consistent mileage amount with the flight awards already available in the Miles & More programme. These are sought-after awards which are at the top of the list in our members’ estimation of value. However, the number of flight awards available is limited. Our flight awards are sometimes sold out, especially at certain seasonal peak periods – such as during holiday times.
With Cash & Miles, we offer you an additional option for redeeming accrued award miles. You can now redeem your award miles for the full or partial amount of any flight booked at lufthansa.com with Lufthansa, a Star Alliance member, Eurowings or Eurowings Discover. This reduces the proportion of your ticket that you pay for in cash. The Cash & Miles calculation is based on the ticket price on the day of booking. This price is converted into miles.
Cash & Miles should be seen as an addition to flight awards and the current awards table. It’s just another option for redeeming miles for flights in the Miles & More programme.
