From Paris, take the A1 via Porte de la Chapelle. Alternatively, take the A3 via Porte de Bagnolet, join the A1, and follow signposts for Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.

Access by public transport

Local buses 350 and 351 connect central Paris to the airport. Roissybus ( serves all three terminals and runs to Place de l'Opéra for the Paris métro (journey time: 45-60 minutes; fare: €10). The Noctilien night service has three routes linking the airport with various destinations in Paris between 0430 and 0130. Shuttle: The Val d'Europe Airports shuttle (VEA) operates services between Paris hotels, Disneyland and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (fare: €18).

Air France coaches (tel: 0892 350 820; depart from terminals 1 and 2 to Porte Maillot and Arc de Triomphe to Montparnasse and Gare de Lyon. They also provide connections to Paris-Orly Airport, from terminals 1 and 2.

A taxi to the city centre will take around 45 minutes. Taxi companies include Alpha Taxis (tel: 01 4585 8585), Les Taxis Bleus (tel: 0891 701 010), Taxis G7 (tel: 01 4739 4739), Taxis (tel: 01 4270 0042) and G7 Horizon (tel: 01 4739 0091). The average fare to central Paris is around €50.

RER trains ( serve the airport in conjunction with ADP shuttles. Line B runs from Terminal 1 and from the TGV station at Terminal 2 to Gare du Nord, Châtelet-les-Halles, St Michel, Luxembourg, Port Royal and Denfert-Rochereau, with connections to the métro. The journey time to Gare du Nord is about 25 minutes, and the fare is €9.10. TGV (tel: 3635; and Thalys (tel: 08 9235 3536; trains also run to various destinations in Paris and beyond. There is a SNCF desk on the fourth floor of Terminal 2 for public transport enquiries.
