Sausalito is located at the northern end of the Golden Gate Bridge and is a small, charming town with many good restaurants. I like to stroll through the streets and enjoy the tranquility. Quite different from bustling San Francisco. My favorite place to eat is the Barrel House Tavern because it offers a beautiful view of San Francisco and Alcatraz. Be sure to order seafood: the tuna, lobster, and mussels are fresh from the water. The oysters come from local oyster farms.
