Information about online or mobile boarding passes

We ask for your understanding that for regulatory reasons, we are currently not permitted to issue online or mobile boarding passes on some routes. In such cases, you will only receive a check-in confirmation. A boarding pass will then only be issued after your coronavirus-related travel documents have been checked at a counter at the airport.

Check in directly online

You can check in here from 23 hours before departure, choose your seat and print out your online boarding pass or have it sent to your mobile phone.

With Lufthansa’s check-in options you can check in conveniently online, via your mobile phone or at a check-in machine – wherever suits you best.

Passenger receipt

Call up your passenger receipt online and print it out directly from your own PC. You will find all the information here.

Baggage check-in

If you have already obtained your boarding pass on your smartphone, online or at a check-in counter, you have the option of checking in your baggage at a self-service bag drop kiosk.
