Renovation work at Zurich Airport: Changes at Check-in 1 and 3
From October 30, 2023, Zurich Airport will be renewing its baggage facilities until spring 2024. During this time, there will be changes at Check-in 1 and 3.
SWISS Economy and Premium Economy passengers, as well as Economy Class booked on Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines or Lufthansa, will drop off their baggage at Check-in-3, located above the train station in Airport Shopping. SWISS First and SWISS Business passengers arriving by train will also find individual priority check-in counters here.
SWISS Business and SWISS First passengers, as well as Business Class passengers booked on Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and Lufthansa, will check in as usual at the priority check-in counters in Check-in 1. The same applies to HON Circle Members, Senators, Frequent Travellers and Star Alliance Gold Cardholders.
Passengers with reduced mobility can still check in at Check-in 1 and 3.
Children traveling alone or passengers with animals in the hold will be asked to check-in 1.

The entrance to the observation deck is located beside Check-in 2 in the public area. The entrance will take you straight to the observation deck.
