Test, drop & fly drive-through is open every day from 08:00 to 20:00.
Test, drop & fly drive-through can be found in parking area P44 on the Airportring, opposite Tor 21, Lufthansa Basis and the Shell petrol station.
For your own protection and that of others, masks (surgical face masks, FFP2 masks) must be worn for medical reasons throughout the site. You must also wear a mask in your car, removing it only for a short period during the swab test.
You can use the drive-through in a car, motorcycle, scooter, e-scooter, bicycle or similar vehicle, but not on foot. Please note that the maximum vehicle height is 2.20 metres.

At present, the test, drop & fly drive-through service at Frankfurt Airport is the only one of its kind. You can find test centres at other locations here.
You do not need a customer account to book a service. If you have booked the drive-through test or the combination service of test, drop & fly drive-through, you must register for the test with CENTOGENE.
Booking via Yilu will only accept credit card payments. Booking via CENTOGENE will accept credit cards, PayPal or Maestro cards.
Please note that to book via the Yilu booking platform you also have to register with the Corona Test Portal then make the service booking using the voucher you receive.
No, you do not need ID or passport details to book the service. You will only need your ID/passport details for your subsequent registration with CENTOGENE when booking your test.
Yes, in the drive-through test your ID/passport details will always be shown on the test result.
You need the voucher code to register and select your appointment with CENTOGENE. Before you can be tested you must register with CENTOGENE and book an appointment.
When booking, you do not yet need to select a fixed appointment. For the drive-through test, when registering with CENTOGENE you must select an appointment which is then valid for the drive-through. If you have booked the drive-through baggage drop-off only, there is no fixed appointment.
You can also book the service and/or register on the spot. To do this we have set up a waiting area where you can book online and register using your smartphone. In addition you have the option of booking and registering with a member of staff in the registration tent.
However, it may be that all the appointments have already been booked on site and we cannot offer you a test service in the drive-through area. In such cases, you can be tested at Frankfurt Airport in the CENTOGENE walk-in test centre.
If you have already booked your test appointment with CENTOGENE and would like to change or cancel your booking, please contact CENTOGENE on 0381 / 80 113 700 or at corona@CENTOGENE.com. If you have booked only the baggage-drop off service or have not yet booked a fixed test appointment with CENTOGENE and would like to change or cancel, please contact Yilu on email@example.com.
To register you need an email address. Go to https>//corona.CENTOGENE.com/ and click on “Set up new account”. Enter your email address and choose a password. After completing the registration, you will receive a confirmation email. Click on the link in the email and follow the instructions.
You will automatically be redirected to the Corona Test Portal homepage. You can then log in using your email address and password and complete your profile.
You can also register on site, but to cut down waiting times during your visit we recommend you register in advance.
CENTOGENE Covid-19 test
Please do not eat, drink or clean your teeth for 15 minutes before the test.
As soon as the result is available, the customer will received an email with a link giving access to the Corona Test Portal. The result is then available directly in your account on the Corona Test Portal.
The customer can save and print out the test result in their wallet or as a document.
You can choose to see your test result in one of 11 different languages.
It is your responsibility to make sure your test result is ready in time. CENTOGENE, Lufthansa and Fraport accept no responsibility for delayed test results that lead to your being denied travel.

You can check in online using the Lufthansa website or on the go via the Lufthansa app. You can check in from 26 hours before departure and print out your boarding pass or have it sent to your mobile phone.
Online check-in should always be possible. In some cases you will not receive a boarding pass but just a check-in confirmation. In this case you can use the drive-through service quite normally. If online check-in is not possible, unfortunately we cannot identify you and you cannot use the service. In this case you can cancel the service free of charge (like a flight cancellation).
As a result of current entry regulations it may be that you do not receive a boarding pass after check-in. In such cases you will receive a check-in confirmation and can show this to use the drive-through service. To do this please bring your check-in confirmation, the flight booking confirmation and the drive-through booking confirmation as well as valid photo ID.
If you are not travelling and do not require baggage drop-off you can also book the test only.
You can use the drive-through test regardless of your airline and even if you are not travelling immediately. You can only use the drive-through baggage-drop and the combination service of drive-through Covid-19 test & drive-through baggage-drop if you are flying with Lufthansa (LH), Swiss (LX) or Austrian (OS).
- Boarding pass or check-in / booking confirmation

- You drive to parking area P44 and wait, with a negative test result, in the appropriately signposted waiting area.
- A sign will tell you which documents are required for baggage drop-off (boarding pass or check-in & flight confirmation, valid photo ID, booking confirmation for drive-through booking).
- In this muster area you will be directed to the respective baggage drop-off lane.
- You drive to your particular baggage drop-off area where you are welcomed by a member of staff to start the baggage drop-off process.
- You unload your baggage yourself or open the boot so that the staff member can unload the baggage.
- Your boarding pass is scanned either by handing the boarding pass to the staff member or by scanning it yourself. If you have not received a boarding pass on check-in, alternatively you can show your check-in confirmation giving your booking confirmation with your name and file key (as a print-out or on a mobile device). The information will be entered manually by the staff member.
- The baggage is weighed.
- If you do not have name tags with contact details on your baggage, you can fill out your contact details on the drive-through tag (DTTD).
- The baggage is tagged by yourself of by a staff member (including attaching the DTTD tag). You will be shown the tag before it is attached to the baggage.
- You will be given a baggage receipt on request. In each case a receipt will be sent electronically.
- You close the boot and return to your car.
No, not all family members have to be present during the baggage drop-off. However boarding pass / check-in / booking confirmation, valid official photo ID (passport or ID card) for absent family members must be shown as well as the booking confirmation for the drive-through service. Please note that the drive-through service must always be booked per person. This means that if you want to drop off four items of baggage for your family (e.g. 2 adults and 2 children) you must book the service for 4 people.
You can drop off your baggage at the drive-through baggage drop-off at the earliest 26 hours and at the latest 2 hours before departure.
You can drop off as many items per person as your fare’s free baggage allowance, or as many as you have booked and paid for additionally. Find out more about each fare’s free baggage allowance.
Yes, you can check in excess baggage, special baggage and bulky baggage as well as sports equipment on the spot according to the Lufthansa Group’s usual guidelines if you have informed us in advance.
Please note that you cannot check in animals (AVIH) or weapons (WAEP) at the drive-through. If you have not yet paid for your excess baggage, special baggage and bulky baggage you can do this on the spot using a debit or credit card and PIN.
Please note that no animals (AVIH) can be checked in at the drive-through baggage drop-off.
As soon as your baggage is transferred to the baggage area at the airport your baggage receipt will be activated. Your baggage receipt will be sent to you as a push notification in the Lufthansa app and/or by email. In the event of your baggage going astray, this baggage receipt serves as the starting point for locating your baggage. In addition you can ask for a paper receipt at the drive-through baggage drop-off counter.
You can only pay on the spot using a debit or credit card and PIN.
If you cannot board your flight, please contact our Service Centre as usual to cancel or rebook your flight.
As your baggage has an additional label and will only be loaded on the aircraft once you are also on board, you do not have to worry. Your baggage will be taken automatically to our Lost & Found Centre and a member of staff will contact you to discuss how best to return your baggage to you.
