Lufthansa Group Wi-Fi offers faster, more powerful onboard internet access – free of charge. You can enjoy cloud-based working and other high-bandwidth applications throughout your flight. Compared to FlyNet®, Lufthansa Group Wi-Fi provides a significantly enhanced onboard connectivity experience.
At the beginning of the rollout, Lufthansa Group Wi-Fi is only available on selected aircraft. Therefore, it is not yet possible to check availability before your flight. As the service becomes available on more aircraft, a flight search function will be introduced on the websites of the Lufthansa Group airlines.
If your aircraft is equipped with Lufthansa Group Wi-Fi, follow these steps to connect to the portal:
- Enable Flight Mode on your device.
- Turn on Wi-Fi.
- Connect to the "Lufthansa Group Wi-Fi" network.
- Once connected, you will be automatically redirected to the login portal. If the portal does not open automatically, please enter wifi.lufthansa.com in your browser's address bar to access the page.
- Follow the instructions in the portal to connect to the internet.
Lufthansa Group Wi-Fi is free of charge for members of a Lufthansa Group loyalty programme and for Travel ID users. If you do not yet have a Travel ID, you can register easily and free of charge, even during your flight.

No. To maintain a pleasant and quiet atmosphere on board, active participation in voice and video calls are not permitted. However, passive listening to meetings, webinars, or similar events is allowed, provided that you use headphones. You may continue to use messaging services, email, and chat as usual.
Actively recording and transmitting live video content, with or without audio, is not permitted. This includes all forms of live streaming and broadcasting. If you record content for later publication, we kindly ask you to respect the privacy of other guests and the crew and not to record anyone without their consent.
