Access to our lounges

Wherever you’re flying with us, as our premium passenger, you have access to selected lounges throughout the world. Ultimately, we want to offer you a relaxed flying experience, regardless of where you are travelling from. To be able to use our lounges, you need to be in possession of a Miles & More status or a specific travel class, plus a valid boarding pass for the respective airport offering the lounge.

1First Class Terminal: Access to the First Class Terminal in Frankfurt is only possible with a confirmed First Class flight on the same day with Lufthansa, SWISS or Discover Airlines. HON Circle Members have access to the First Class Terminal for flights with Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Air Dolomiti, Discover Airlines, Lufthansa, Lufthansa City Airlines or SWISS.
2Entry with a boarding pass for a Lufthansa Group, Star Alliance or codeshare flight. This does not apply to Frequent Travellers travelling on the BASIC fare with Eurowings.
3Entry to the First Class lounges only for First Class passengers of Air China in Frankfurt and Munich.

2Access to a United Polaris Lounge is not possible for Business Class passengers travelling on the Business Light fare.

Entry to the Lufthansa Group contract lounges on departure

Lufthansa offers contract lounges for a number of destination airports. The lounges are operated by third-party providers outside the Star Alliance. Entry is only possible in combination with a valid boarding pass for a flight operated by Lufthansa for the respective location.

Lounge access for your travel companion

Depending on the travel class, status and lounge, you can take your companion and family members into the lounge with you. Please note that accompanying persons must show a valid boarding pass for the same flight to gain entry and must enter and leave the lounge together with the person inviting them into the lounge.

Access regulations for unaccompanied children and young people

Children are welcome to use our lounges provided they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. Unaccompanied children under the age of 18 are not allowed access to our lounges for child welfare reasons.
