Lufthansa Express Bus – assuring your journey
Your upcoming journey includes a bus connection with our Lufthansa Express Bus Service. This offers you a guaranteed connection for your flight (via Frankfurt am Main or Munich) and for your bus journey.
Check-in and boarding pass
Check in for your bus journey just as you do for your flight. Check-in opens 30 hours before your first Lufthansa flight or bus journey and must be completed 15 minutes before the bus departs at the latest. The boarding pass is your ticket for the bus journey and will be checked by the bus driver.
Baggage on the journey
Please take your baggage with you on the bus. The driver will be happy to help you stow your baggage.
Baggage check-in
After your bus arrives at Frankfurt Airport, you can find the self-service bag drop kiosks in the AIRail terminal near the bus station. Alternatively you can also use the self-service bag drop kiosks in Departure Halls A and B.
After your bus arrives at Munich Airport, please use the self-service bag drop kiosks in the departures terminal.
Baggage reclaim
After landing at Frankfurt Airport, you can collect your baggage at the AiRail Terminal. When you have collected your baggage, please follow the signs to the Lufthansa Express Bus on Squaire West.
After landing at Munich Airport, you can collect your baggage from the carousel of your arriving flight. When you have collected your baggage, please follow the signs to the bus station.
Frankfurt und Munich: Quickly through security control
After dropping off your baggage, please follow the signs to security control where you can use the Fast Lane for Lufthansa Express Bus passengers.
