Perfect Day New York: One Day in the Big Apple with the Elevator Boys
The boy band and creator group Elevator Boys don’t just spend time in New York for work — they genuinely love being here. We tag along with the five of them for a full day as they take us to their favorite hotspots, from bagel shops to a UFO seemingly hovering above the city
8 AM: Breakfast at Bagel Pub
We like to start the day early to make the most of New York. At Bagel Pub, you can get some of the city’s best bagels from as early as 6 AM. The selection of cream cheeses is incredible. You can build your own custom bagel – almost a little overwhelming, but always delicious.
11 AM: Sports and Shopping
When the weather’s nice, we work out in Central Park. But of course, shopping is also on the agenda. We especially love small vintage stores, which New York has in abundance. At L Train Vintage in the East Village, you’ll find well-curated secondhand fashion at fair prices. New items arrive several times a week, so there’s always something new on the racks. If you’re into ’90s and early-2000s fashion, make sure to stop by the vintage store Rogue.
1 PM: Lunch with Burgers, Pastrami, and Smoothies
We love just wandering through the streets – especially in Manhattan, whether it’s SoHo, the East Village, or Midtown. A smashed burger from the 7th Street Burger chain is a must. The burgers with beef, American cheese, grilled onions, and pickles are fairly small, so having two or three is totally reasonable. We also highly recommend the pastrami sandwiches at Katz’s Delicatessen, one of New York’s oldest delis – and currently very hyped again. For good reason! Fun fact: Katz’s is open 24 hours on weekends. To balance things out with some vitamins, we stop by Joe & The Juice. With freshly pressed juices, green smoothies, and healthy snacks, we’re all set for the afternoon.

2:30 PM: Playing Soccer at Pier 40
Soccer fans don’t always have it easy in the U.S., where other sports dominate. New York is no exception, and finding a place to play can be tricky. But there’s one particularly great soccer field right by the Hudson River – at Pier 40 in Hudson River Park. The view of the city is absolutely incredible.
5 PM: Views from Umpire Rock
New York has plenty of amazing viewpoints. One of our favorites is Umpire Rock in Central Park. Many people just stand next to it taking photos instead of simply climbing up and enjoying the view from the top.
8 PM: Dinner at Crazy Pizza
A recommendation from Heidi Klum – with whom we’ve spent time in New York on several occasions – is Crazy Pizza in SoHo. This place is all about pizza and partying. DJs are playing, dough is flying through the air, and the vibe is phenomenal. They serve ultra-thin pizza topped with high-quality ingredients like black truffle and authentic Italian ham. Best tip: order several varieties and share.
11 PM: Billiards and Drinks
After dinner, we either go play billiards or head to a bar. Agency of Record is a great spot for excellent cocktails and a homage to the "Mad Men" era of New York’s advertising industry. Also worth a visit: the Boom Lounge at The Standard, High Line hotel. High above the Meatpacking District, it floats like a golden UFO over the city – complete with wraparound windows. We’ve even performed there ourselves. It was an unforgettable night.
