Covid-19 Test Regulations and Chinese Customs Requirements for Long-haul Flights From/To China Mainland
Travelling to China Mainland
As required by the Chinese authorities for entry into China Mainland, all passengers need to:
- Passengers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 48 hours before departure, the test can be taken either in the departure country or in the transit country
The negative test result must be printed and no electronic document is allowed
If the PCR test result is positive, passengers can only travel to China Mainland until it is negative
If passengers take a PCR test at Frankfurt Airport, please plan sufficient time to obtain the test result before departure
