Current flight information
Due to the requirements of the German Federal Police of January 13, 2021, passengers from Brazil, Great Britain, Ireland and South Africa are subject to extended travel conditions. Lufthansa may carry all booked passengers on departures from these countries under the following conditions
- all passengers must present a negative PCR-/Antigen- (COVID-19) test result at the time of departure, which is not older than 48 hours prior to the scheduled arrival time in Germany (this applies both to guests who end their trip in Germany but also to guests with an onward flight)
- all passengers (including those with connecting flights to a destination outside Germany) must register online at the following link: https://www.einreiseanmeldung.de/
- all passengers with a connecting flight to a destination outside Germany must, in addition to the above obligations, comply with the entry requirements of the relevant destination country
- all guests with a final destination in Germany must observe the local quarantine regulations. Information on this can be found here
As stated above, only passengers (except children under 6 years of age) with a negative Corona test may be carried. The test must be presented on paper or in an electronic document in German or English upon departure. The test on which the result is based must have been taken no more than 48 hours before the planned arrival in Germany. The underlying test (PCR/antigen) must meet the requirements of the Robert Koch Institute (https://www.rki.de/tests). The testing requirement applies to all passengers, even if an onward flight to a destination outside Germany is booked. Passengers are requested to contact the Federal Police directly for further inquiries.
Reservations for passengers with a connecting flight to a Schengen-state may have been cancelled due to previous legal regulations. Affected guests are requested to contact Lufthansa to reactivate their flight booking.
