Travellers with special needs

On the following pages we have put together important information for people with special needs who are flying with Lufthansa. In particular, please note our advice regarding assistance for passengers with reduced mobility.

Should you have any questions relating to this advice or any other aspect of your travel, please contact your travel agent or Lufthansa directly. By calling: +49 (0) 800 -838 4267 (toll-free if calling from a German landline) you will receive detailed information.

In general Lufthansa is happy to carry passengers with reduced mobility. However, it may be necessary for a companion to travel with you. If you are travelling alone and you are not in a position to manage your own evacuation in case of emergency because of the severity of your disability, Lufthansa may not allow you to travel on the flight.
