In Economy Class on European flights lasting 45 minutes or more, you can pre-order high-quality, fresh products from the Onboard Delights menu online and purchase them on board.

In Business Class on long-haul flights from Germany, you can choose your complimentary hot main course in the first meal service online as part of our pre-select service. On European flights with a flight time of two hours or more, you can pre-select your hot main course.

The discount is automatically deducted from the total price when you pay on board.

In Economy Class on short-haul flights, fresh products from dean&david and Dallmayr can be pre-ordered from the Onboard Delights menu. Beverages and snacks (e.g. muesli bars) can be purchased directly on board. In Business Class on long-haul flights, you can choose your hot main course in advance.

You can order your preferred meal for your Lufthansa Economy Class European flight between four weeks and 18 hours before departure for flights from Germany and 24 hours before departure for flights to Germany. In Lufthansa Business Class, you have the option on short-haul flights of pre-ordering your hot main course from four weeks and up to 24 hours before departure for flights from Germany and up to 30 hours before departure for flights to Germany. On long-haul flights, you can choose your meal from four weeks and up to 24 hours before departure from Germany.

To display your flights, please enter your first name, last name, booking code or ticket number. For those flights for which a selection is possible, you can then choose from the available products.

On short-haul flights, you can pre-order up to five products in Economy Class.  In Business Class on long-haul flights, you can choose your hot main course for the first meal service on board.

In Economy Class, you can choose up to five products to share on board with your travel companions. In Business Class on long-haul flights, the main course must be selected individually for each passenger.

On board, you can purchase additional products, such as drinks, along with your pre-ordered products to take advantage of the offers from the menu. The associated discounts are automatically deducted when you pay.

You will pay during the in-flight service on board. Payment is contactless only via Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Maestro, and Apple as well as Google Pay. Cash payments are not accepted.

Your selected hot main course in Business Class, as well as the pre-order, are free of charge.

Special meals are not usually offered on short-haul flights in Economy Class. However, the Onboard Delights menu offers you an extensive selection of products, including, for example, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten- and lactose-free options.

For long-haul flights, special meals must be ordered directly when you book your flight ticket. At a later date, you can only order through your Lufthansa Group airline’s customer services. If you have ordered a special meal, you will always receive it instead of the selection you have made on this website.

On European flights in Business Class with a flight time of 50 minutes or more, you can order a special meal directly when booking or subsequently through customer services.

Your flight is not operated by Lufthansa or Lufthansa Cityline.

For flights to certain destinations, such as Tel Aviv, no orders are possible.

Yes, you can still purchase a wide variety of products directly on board, subject to their availability. On flights lasting 45 minutes or longer, you can expect a wide selection of snacks, drinks, and baked goods. For a flight time of 70 minutes or more, our full Onboard Delights range is also available to you. To ensure that your favourite product is on board, we recommend that you select and reserve your desired meal in advance.

Unfortunately, in the event of a flight rebooking, we cannot ensure that you will get the products you originally selected. On short-haul flights in Economy Class, you can still purchase products directly on board (subject to availability). On long-haul flights in Business Class, you always choose a main meal from the menu, subject to availability on board. Up to no later than 18 hours before departure for flights from Germany and up to 24 hours before departure for flights to Germany (Lufthansa Economy Class Europe), on short-haul flights up to 24 hours before departure from Germany and up to 30 hours before departure to Germany, and on long-haul flights up to 24 hours before departure from Germany (Lufthansa Business Intercontinental), you can also cancel your previous selection and pre-order for your new flight.
