At Berlin-Brandenburg Airport,   our HON Circle Members and Senators currently have the exclusive option of using a separate biometric entrance alongside the Fast Lane. During a test period at the airport, HON Circle Members and Senators have the opportunity to enter security control using face recognition, without having to show their boarding pass.

Registration is voluntary and can be done via an app developed by FastID. Verification at the airport is carried out by taking photos using permanently installed cameras at the process points and comparing the photos with the biometric passenger data in the FastID app. After the flight, the FastID data is deleted and remains exclusively in the passenger’s app, where they can independently manage their profile and user data.

Installing the app

Download the FastID app and register by creating an account.

Create biometric profile

After registering, please scan either your passport or ID card and then upload a selfie of your face.

Upload boarding pass

Upload your boarding pass for a flight with Lufthansa, Austrian, SWISS, or Eurowings Discover to the FastID app. You can do this by scanning the QR code on the boarding pass, by uploading a screenshot of the boarding pass including the QR code, or by uploading the mobile boarding pass from the wallet on your iOS device.
