More Comfort in Business Class on Short- and Medium-Haul Flights

By 2029, the majority of our Airbus A320 fleet will gradually be fitted with a new, modernized cabin featuring ergonomically optimized seats, significantly larger overhead bins, and USB ports at every seat. In Business Class, the headrests are horizontally adjustable, the backrests recline especially far, and the first five rows offer five centimeters more legroom than before the retrofit – for a more comfortable and relaxing journey on board.

With Lufthansa Business Class, you’ll arrive at your destination feeling well-rested. The Business Class seat on long-haul routes converts into an almost two-meter-long bed – ideal for relaxing during a long flight. The open layout, the seating arrangement, and the design in subtle and natural colours create a pleasant and spacious feeling. New practical features and even more attentive service take your experience of a long-haul journey to an even higher level of premium.

A380 new Business Class: More space to relax

Look forward to even more comfort on your journey, as the A380 new Business Class now awaits you on selected Airbus A380-800 aircraft. In our modernized cabin, every seat offers all aisle access, giving you more freedom of movement throughout your flight. Alongside our Classic Seat, two new seating options are now available as well. The Privacy Seat offers more calm and personal space, with the best views right by the window, while the Extra Long Bed lets you arrive relaxed and well rested. For a seating experience tailored entirely to your preferences.
