On European flights with a flight time of 45 minutes or more, you can reserve your desired meal from our diverse range of fresh dishes in advance for a fee – simply and conveniently by pre-ordering. This will make your flight even more enjoyable and individual. In addition, you can expect delicious baked goods, snacks, and drinks here.
On flights lasting 70 minutes or longer, we will present our entire range of freshly prepared food and drinks directly on board – even without prior ordering. This will enable you to choose spontaneously from our extensive selection and give yourself a special culinary treat.
On most European routes with a flight time of 2 hours or more, you can also pre-order hot meals as a menu before your flight. Our hot meals are exclusively available via pre-order and include a beverage of your choice (soft drink, beer or wine). Enjoy a varied selection of popular dishes – including the exclusive HANS IM GLÜCK Cheeseburger, Chicken Teriyaki, beef roulade, currywurst with bread roll and creamy pasta with tomato sauce. Chicken Teriyaki, beef roulade and our pasta dishes are also served with a regularly changing dessert – for an even more enjoyable travel experience.

Oktoberfest Moment
Make your journey even more enjoyable: From 01 September to 31 October 2026, you can pre-order our exclusive Oktoberfest Moment on selected European flights. Enjoy a traditional Bavarian snack platter with porcini veal meatballs, potato and cucumber salad, lamb’s lettuce and pointed cabbage salad, radish, radishes, medium-hot mustard, pretzel stick and Obazda cheese with chives. As a special highlight, you will receive a free beer or non-alcoholic beverage of your choice*.

With the Onboard Delights service on European flights, Lufthansa provides an extended selection of hot drinks. At the heart of this is a sustainable, reusable cup made of recyclable plastic that replaces the previous disposable cup and its plastic lid. In addition to high-quality, soluble coffee specialities, such as latte macchiato, three varieties of tea and hot chocolate are also offered for sale in recyclable cups. The coffee specialities can be enjoyed with either cow’s milk or oat milk.
