What is HelpAlliance?

HelpAlliance was founded in 1999 by staff members from all parts of the Lufthansa Group. It is a voluntary, non-denominational, politically independent organisation.
HelpAlliance oversees social projects such as: education development, medical support, charity programs for orphanages and children-in-need, reconstruction programs after natural disasters.
Lufthansa is responsible for ensuring that donations are used correctly, and that the money reaches in full.

PartnerPlusBenefit opens special donation scheme directly to HelpAlliance!

Starting from September 2012, as a member of PartnerPlusBenefit program, you and your company will be able to contribute to HelpAlliance's charity projects via a special redeeming option called "Cashback for donation". With this option, every 150 BenefitPoints equal 1 Euro, and the donated amount will be converted into your local currency upon redemption.
The following content presents HelpAlliance's current projects within the region, and it is up to you to select the one(s) to which you would like to offer your help!

 

Orphanage and Child Protection Center in Pattaya (Thailand)

The Child Protection and Development Center (CPDC) gives street kids a permanent home and a sound environment with proper nutrition, medical care, love and affection. It is all about giving the children possibility to learn, to laugh and to feel appreciated towards themselves and others. Besides the core CPDC project, HelpAlliance continues to support the work of the Pattaya Orphanage.

Saigon Children's Charity in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam)

Saigon Children's Charity (SCC) is in partnership with Working With Others (WWO) to bring special educational programs to handicapped children in Vietnam. The project aims to fund new approaches in supporting and caring of disabled children to give them a more self-determined life. Those programs teach disabled children new ways of cooperation, promote individual initiative, creativity and groups working.

Prana Project in Pondicherry (India)

The Prana Project began after the 2006 tsunami as an emergency support. Over the year, the project has grown successfully in providing special education for more than one hundred gifted, yet poor children. Besides daily classes, children are taught lessons on sport, painting and music. The school also provides healthy meals and free medical assistance for the children.
