September 15, 2014 – After announcement from the Vereinigung Cockpit pilots’ union that they will boycott the long-haul flights from Frankfurt tomorrow, Lufthansa published a special flight plan this afternoon. The plan is for all 40 long-haul flights scheduled to depart tomorrow during the strike to take place.

August 8, 2014 - As a result of the current situation in Iraq, Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines will initially suspend flights to and from Erbil until Tuesday, 12 August. Flights to Erbil are operated daily by Austrian Airlines from Vienna and twice a week by Lufthansa from Frankfurt.
