Location

The airport is situated 24km (15 miles) east of Lyon's city centre.

How to get there

The airport is located on the A432. It can be accessed from the A42 towards Geneva and the A43 towards Chambéry.

Access by public transport

Rail:
Trains run from the airports TGV station and serve some 15 cities in France and northern Italy daily, including Paris Gare de Lyon, Marseille, Avignon, Turin and Milan. Contact SNCF (tel: 0892 688 266 within France; www.sncf.com) for information and bookings.

Bus:
Several bus services are operated by Satobus (tel: (04) 7268 7217; www.satobus.com), connecting the airport to the main cities of Rhône-Alpes; their desk is located in the central area.

Taxi:
A taxi rank is located in front of Terminal 1. Taxis operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

There are three help desks at the airport. The first is in Terminal 2, Departures 3, the second is in Terminal 1, Arrivals B, and the third (the main information point) is located in the central hall.
