The airport is located 5km (3 miles) southeast of Valletta.
How to get there
On leaving the airport, take the main road to Marsa, which leads to Valletta. The city centre and airport are both clearly signposted.

Access by public transport
Bus:
Bus 8 departs regularly to/from Valletta and leaves from a bus stop outside the check-in hall (tel: 2560 8000; www.arriva.com.mt.). The Gozo-Airport Shuttle (tel: 2210 9001; www.gozochannel.com) connects to Gozo ferry services at the Cirkewwa sea passenger terminal.
Taxi:
There is a fixed-fare taxi service, operated by White Taxis (tel: 2182 3017; www.arriva.com.mt.) to all areas of Malta. A taxi booth is located in the Welcomers Hall, where pre-paid tickets can be purchased.

Malta Tourist Information (tel: 2369 6073/4) is located in the Welcomers Hall and is open 24 hours a day. Additional information is available on-line (www.visitmalta.com). The Customer Services Centre (tel: 2124 9600) is located inside the check-in hall and is also open around the clock.
