Sven Elverfeld — no Michelin-starred chef knows the LSG Sky Chefs kitchens better than he does. At the end of the eighties he completed his training as a chef with the Lufthansa subsidiary. After a variety of experiences working in top gastronomy and with national and international top chefs, he found his place in the car town of Wolfsburg. Awarded three Michelin stars, Elverfeld cooks surprising and creative dishes for his guests in the ‘Aqua’ restaurant in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
Sven Elverfeld was responsible for our passengers’ meals once before, with great success, in 2005, so he is also a top chef with plenty of experience in this field. It is not always easy to adapt creative ideas that can be implemented in a top restaurant to the demands and requirements of aircraft meals and the conditions of a galley. Sven Elverfeld has also mastered this superbly.
