In November 2012 we began to upgrade the in-flight services in Business Class on long-haul flights. A quality initiative which is now being continued in a consistent way with further new developments in our culinary concept.
We want to give our passengers positive surprises time and again and to take their wishes seriously. With a noticeable improvement in both the quality and quantity of food, greater freshness and variety of dishes, the reintroduction of the popular side salad, pastries “fresh from the baker” and an increase in the variety of beverages offered, we are meeting those wishes.
Business Class passengers on board our long-haul flights from Germany in July and August will be transported back in time by our menus.

New service on short night flights
It has long been the wish of many of our Business Class passengers to have more time to sleep on short intercontinental night flights – a request which Lufthansa has responded to by introducing its new night service.
