Sitting and sleeping

Your seat also turns into a fully flat, two-metre-long bed. And to ensure an especially restful sleep, we give you a high-quality pillow and a soft duvet.

It is easy to call up your own personal programme selection on the large screen at your seat: choose from a comprehensive range of videos with movies in up to eight languages, numerous TV programmes, the latest news and sports highlights, music magazines from around the world, CDs, a variety of audio books, 30 radio stations with many international channels, computer games, language courses and service information relating to Lufthansa and your flight. Every First Class passenger also receives a copy of the monthly Lufthansa Media World programme guide.
And if you are in the mood for a good read, we offer you an extensive and varied selection of newspapers and magazines on different subjects and areas of interest.

As your host above the clouds we always aim to serve meals to your liking in Lufthansa First Class: thanks to our collaboration with luxury hotel chains, Lufthansa First Class top chefs create delicious regional dishes for you on selected intercontinental flights to Germany.
With our award-winning wine programme, Vinothek Discoveries, you will enjoy outstanding wines which we have selected especially for our First Class passengers with the help of Sommelier World Champion and Master of Wine Markus Del Monego. He travels the world in search of very special wines which he then brings together for you into an exciting and exclusive selection that changes every two months. On all our intercontinental flights you will receive a wine list with detailed descriptions of each wine, its region and vintage.
Freshening up
So that you can arrive refreshed after a long intercontinental flight, we give each of our First Class passengers an exclusive amenity kit containing high-quality branded toiletries.
