...is being prepared by top chef, Thomas Kellermann, for our Business Class passengers. Passengers on long-haul flights from Germany will be able to enjoy his creations this November and December.
Holder of two Michelin stars, Kellermann has, for the last five years, been in charge of the kitchen of one of the best preserved medieval castles in Germany, Burg Wernberg. Looking like it belongs in a fairy tale, this Gothic castle lies in the triangle between Bamberg, Nuremberg and Regensburg, close to the Czech border and not far from Prague.
Head chef Thomas Kellermann practises a surprising, creative and above all seasonal style of cooking, whilst staying true to his Bavarian roots. Vegetables feature prominently in his menus.
Just the thing for winter
As always at this time of year we will, of course, be serving our extremely popular roast goose with red cabbage and dumplings to those passengers who request it. And as a little seasonal surprise we will also be giving our Business Class passengers a little bag of biscuits with their coffee.
In keeping with our theme of medieval castles, we will be showing the film ‘First Knight’, an adventure based on the Arthurian legend, which was shot on location in English castles. And those passengers who don’t want to watch the film might just catch a bird’s-eye view from the aircraft window of one of the more than 20,000 castles in Germany.
