The airport is located 20km (12.5 miles) northeast of Calgary.
How to get there
To reach the city centre from Airport Road NE, turn left onto Barlow Trail North, turn left on Airport Trail NE, and then left at the traffic lights. Then merge onto Deerfoot Trail south, exit onto 16th Avenue West (TransCanada Highway) and turn left onto Centre Street. Alternatively, drive south on the Barlow Trail to the Memorial Drive exit ramp (then take Memorial Drive west) and take the exit ramp off 4th Avenue.

Access by public transport
Calgary Transit (tel: (403) 262 1000; www.calgarytransit.com) runs route 100 to Westwinds Station and route 430 to Crowfoot CTrain Station. The new route 300 BRT public bus links the airport to the city centre with services every 30 minutes between 0500 and midnight. Allied Downtown Shuttle Service (tel: (403) 299 9555; www.airportshuttlecalgary.ca) operates services to the city centre, with various pick-up/drop-off points in town. For those travelling to and from Fort McMurray, Edmonton and Red Deer and The Red Arrow Motorcoach (tel: (403) 531 0350 or 1 800 232 1958; www.redarrow.ca) offers regular services to and from Calgary city centre, with onward connecting services. Many local hotels offer courtesy shuttles, and several other bus operators offer connections to Banff, Jasper and a variety of other locations.
Licensed taxies are available 24 hours, with stands located outside Arrivals.
