How to get there

From downtown Miami, take the I-95 north to SR836 West, take the exit at LeJeune Road northbound (NW 42 Avenue); the airport is well signposted. From the north, take the I-95 south to SR112, continuing to the connector to the airport. From the southwest, take SR826 north and exit at LeJeune Road northbound (NW 42 Avenue).

Access by public transport

A Metrobus service also provides a connection to the Tri-Rail (tel: 1 800 874 7245; commuter train system at the Airport Station, immediately east of the station, with connections to Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. Services from Airport Station to the airportare free for valid air ticket holders.

The Miami-Dade Transit Department (tel: (305) 770 3131) providesMetrobus services to all areas of Miami-Dade County. Several routes call at the airport. The bus station is located on Level 1 of Terminal E. The Airport Flyer (, Miami's newest addition to its airports' transport network, only costs visitors $2.35 each way.The Airport Flyer (route 150) conducts an express service between Miami International Airport and Miami Beach with only one stop in between at the Earlington Heights Metrorail station. The route transports passengers from Miami Airport's bus terminal (Terminal E) to 41st street and Alton Road within twenty minutes and continues on Collins Avenue to 16th Street.

Taxis are available outside baggage reclaim.
