‘Cucina Casalinga’ – traditional Italian home cooking
In January and February in Business Class on long-haul flights from Germany you will be able to enjoy menus that are inspired by Italy’s traditional country cooking.
Italy has a great deal to offer in terms of gastronomy; its many traditional dishes enjoy great popularity and not just in Germany. Italian meals also go down very well with our passengers. A good reason to serve classic dishes in the style of regional Italian home cooking on board.
‘Cucina Casalinga’ has something to delight everyone’s taste buds, with authentic flavours prepared using the best ingredients. These menus are created using recipes that have been handed down within Italian families from generation to generation – so every mouthful evokes the typically Italian zest for life.
Tempting traditional home cooking
Marcus Graun from ‘Trattoria Enoteca’ in the Althoff Grandhotel Schloss Bensberg in Bergisch Gladbach and Walter Leufen of ‘Il Barcaiolo’ in the Althoff Seehotel Überfahrt in Rottach-Egern are the two chefs responsible for these new Lufthansa menus.
They will ensure that on board you can experience Italy’s traditional country cooking enhanced by top-standard gastronomic flair.
