Log on to the Lufthansa.Com India Website for our best Lufthansa fares online. If on the same day, you find a lower Lufthansa fare online for the same Lufthansa operated flight, itinerary and cabin that is lower by at least INR 500 than the ticket that you purchased on Lufthansa.Com, you can file a claim and you will receive a Promotion Code which will entitle you a discount of the difference in fare plus INR1500 on your next ticket that you book online. The claim must be filed on the same day as of the purchase and the discount can only be availed through Promotion Codes on Lufthansa.Com.

Guarantee Requirements:

In order to qualify for a refund under this guarantee, the claim must satisfy all Terms and Conditions of the Best Price Guarantee (BPG) and be submitted in compliance with the claim processing procedures detailed below.
All claims must be made by midnight Indian Standard Time (IST) of the same day on which the Lufthansa ticket is purchased.
Lufthansa must be able to verify the claim submitted by the passenger claiming the lower online published price at the time of claim. The lower price should not be available on the Indian lufthansa.com website.
Please enclose the screen shot stating the fares available on another website. The screenshot must clearly show the final fare (the confirmation page), including all fess and taxes etc. The fares showing as 'from XXXX' or as like will not be accepted. Any supplementary evidence submitted by the passenger will not be accepted.

BPG is valid only for lower prices found online for the exact same flight, exact itinerary and exact booking class, purchased on the same day as the original Lufthansa.com online purchase. In this situation the total fare shall include all applicable taxes and surcharges. Credit Card Surcharges if any shall be excluded.
Prices must be in the same cabin (First Class / Business Class / Economy Class), and for the exact same flights that carry the same fare restrictions (including fare conditions such as whether tickets are/are not flexible, refundable or changeable.
Tickets must be sold in India over the internet in INR currency. The website containing the lower online fare must provide capability to book that fare in INR. Websites showing fares but not providing the capability to book them will not be considered applicable for a refund.
BPG applies only to tickets purchased with an India billing address. Furthermore, the lower price on the other website must be bookable with this billing address.
The claim will only be accepted if the request is made by the same person who is mentioned on the Lufthansa ticket. The BPG applies only on itineraries wholly operated and marketed by Lufthansa with the outbound flight originating in India.


Submitting a claim:

A claim submittal form is available at www.lufthansa.com. All Claims must be made online via this claim form. To submit claim, fill in all required fields and click 'Submit.'
Lufthansa Customer Service will get in touch with you via e-mail.
Lufthansa reserves the right to deny any claims that cannot be reasonably verified, or for which incomplete information has been provided.
All claims must be made by midnight IST on the same day the original Lufthansa.com ticket is purchased.

By submitting the claim, the passenger agrees to abide by the BPG Terms & Conditions. Any Claim which does not adhere strictly to the Terms & Conditions shall be deemed to be void.

Guarantee exceptions:

The Best Price Guarantee does not apply to:
a.) Unpublished prices which are not available to the general public. Prices not available to the general public include, but are not limited to, corporate discount fares, meetings and conference fares, wholesaler fares and other discount fares.
b.) Package fares - fares sold as part of a travel package.
c.) Fares where the carrier or itinerary details are unknown until after purchase and other discount fares.
d.) Price difference less than INR 500.
e.) Itineraries with Swiss in total or partial are excluded from this offer.

Guarantee offer:

This guarantee only applies to Lufthansa fares available online to the general public, with a price difference of at least INR 500. There is no maximum limit to the amount of the claim. The tariff applicable for the price guarantee is inclusive of taxes, fees and surcharges. Credit Card surcharges if any shall be excluded.
If you find a lower fare online, you would be entitled to a discount for the amount of the price difference plus INR 1500 on your subsequent online purchase of Lufthansa ticket via a promotion code. This Promotion Code would only be issued to the passenger making a valid claim and would be valid only for a Lufthansa ticket with Lufthansa operated flights booked on Lufthansa.Com.

The Promotion Code would be valid for a period of 6 months and shall be the sole and exclusive benefit available under this Guarantee. An extension of the validity period of promotion code cannot be granted.

Other conditions:

Lufthansa’s decision in relation to any claim under this guarantee or the interpretation of any part of these terms and conditions shall be final and conclusive. Lufthansa reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time at Lufthansa’s sole discretion, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified terms and conditions (and shall apply to all tickets purchased after such posting).

Lufthansa reserves the right to terminate this offer at any time without notice.

Lufthansa will not be liable for any expenses incurred following the cancellation of a booking and for all bookings made on a website other than the Lufthansa.Com India Website. This is a goodwill offer and does not entitle the passenger to claim damages, compensation or any other claims for consequential loss, deficiency in service etc. on any account whatsoever.
