Chennai Airport - Online Check-in with Home Print Boarding Pass
Lufthansa will be the first carrier to implement Home Print Boarding Pass for international departures from Chennai w.e.f. LH759/02May (eff 1st May local date).
Now you can do online check-in on Lufthansa.com, print your boarding pass and bypass the queues at the airport.
Intructions for passengers carrying home print boarding pass

Bypass the queues at Mumbai airport!
You now have a quick and easy way to breeze through the Check-In process at Mumbai.
· Simply check in at one of the 4 Lufthansa Check-In machines at the airport
· Select your own seat with the interactive seat display
· Proceed to the baggage drop off counter. If you are travelling with just cabin baggage, move on directly to Immigration and Security.
Helpful staff are positioned at the Check-In kiosks to provide any assistance or clarifications. So say goodbye to long queues at the Check-In counters and say hello to the new Check-In machines - a smarter way to travel!
Prohibition on Non Commercial Shipments to USA from India
Passengers travelling to USA are hereby informed that as per the Circular No F.No.18 - 1/2011- PP.II dated 22.11.2011, issued by Ministry of Agriculture, Government of india, (Department of Agriculture & Cooperation), the entry of non commercial shipments (including passennger baggage and mail) of soybeans, chickpeas and safflower seeds from countries including India where Khapra beetle (Trogoderma granarium) is known to occur has been prohibited with effect from 17th january 2012.
Passengers are requested not to carry soyabeans, chickpeas and safflower seeds in their baggage if they are travelling to USA.
Please note that the earlier notification of Ministry of Agriculture dated 1st August 2011, with respect to prohibition of Non Commercial shipments of rice to USA still continues.
