Welcome on board
In First Class on our A340-600, A340-300 and A330-300 long-haul jets we offer our premium passengers eight generously sized seats - and the ideal conditions for letting the time just fly by.
Configuration
Since the end of February 2011 the entire Lufthansa long-haul fleet will gradually be fitted with the latest First Class configuration, adapted to the requirements of the respective aircraft types. This refitting has already begun on the A340-300s and A340-600s.
Sitting
Simply adjust your seat to the position which you find most comfortable: with its perfect ergonomics and intuitive controls, the First Class seat on board encourages you to just sit back and relax. An individually controllable privacy screen ensures you can do so undisturbed. The height-adjustable headrest, a real leather ottoman and a seat cover that is especially kind to your skin round off your First Class seat.
Sleeping
Sweet dreams: if you wish, our flight attendants will transform your First Class seat into a proper, two-metre-long bed, with a temperature regulating duvet, high-quality pillow and an extra soft mattress.
Efficient under-carpet sound insulation and a soundproof curtain, which effectively screens off the First Class cabin, ensure you enjoy the necessary peace and quiet for a good night’s sleep.
Relaxing
On board the Lufthansa A340-600, A340-300 and A330-300 you can enjoy your own personal entertainment programme from Lufthansa Media World on your individual 17 inch screen - and can do so undisturbed thanks to the modern noise-cancelling headset.
An even more relaxing ambience is created by the warm and pleasant lighting concept in the First Class cabin, which you can adjust to your own requirements with the help of your reading lamp and night light.
Working
Generous seat pitches and wide, sliding tables make First Class the ideal place to prepare for your next business meeting. These Airbus aircraft are also gradually being fitted with FlyNet® , our on-board Internet service.
Freshening up
If you would like to freshen up a little before bedtime or before landing, an elegant bathroom in the new design is available in the First Class cabin.
