First Class Lounge
The First Class Lounge at Munich is a welcoming place to relax or work. At 860 square metres over two levels, the lounge has its own passport and security controls which facilitate a direct change of levels, as well as entry and exit for all flights.
A bar, reclining chairs, a comfort area and an attractive Wining & Dining area are available to you. You can prepare for your next meeting in the peace and quiet of the work area or relax in the spacious bathrooms, which are equipped with shower and Jacuzzi.
The First Class Lounge at Munich Airport is open daily from 05.00 hrs to 22.00 hrs. It is located opposite the Lufthansa Senator Lounge in the Schengen Departure Area of Terminal 2.
As a First Class customer you may, of course, also use all the other Lufthansa lounges. Please refer to the Lufthansa Lounge Directory for the locations of these lounges at Munich Airport.
First Class customers at Munich have the option of bringing a companion, as well as members of their family (spouse or partner, plus children), into the relevant First Class area, provided that they are all booked on the same flight with Lufthansa, Lufthansa Regional, Austrian Airlines Group or SWISS. Check-in
As a First Class customer arriving by car at Munich Airport, you will be met at the curbside check-in by a member of staff. While you go straight to the check-in counter, this employee will see to the return of your rental car or park your car for you. If you are arriving by another means of transport, you may check in at our First Class check-in counters in Terminal 2.
Checking in at the First Class counter and at the curbside check-in is possible up to 25 minutes before departure. To save you even more time, we have introduced Security Fast Lanes. Using these, First Class passengers can pass through the security and passport controls quickly and without having to queue.
Limousine Service
As well as the valet parking service for private and rental cars, the exclusive limousine service for non-gate positions contributes to a comfortable journey from or via Munich: if their flight arrives at a non-gate position, First Class passengers are collected from the aircraft and taken to the bus stop at the terminal or to the First Class Lounge. If departure is from a non-gate position, a limousine or people-carrier service is available to First Class passengers. If due to a delayed arrival in Munich First Class passengers have a connecting time of less than 30 minutes, they will be driven straight to their connecting flight, provided that this will guarantee they catch their flight. This service applies to scheduled flights by Lufthansa, Lufthansa Regional, Austrian Airlines Group and SWISS.
Separate security control for transit passengers from non-EU countries
Since January 2009 there have been changes to the routes through Terminal 2, as well as to the use of the security controls, as a result of new EU regulations. Passengers arriving from countries outside the EU (except for Switzerland, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein), must now go through a separate security check before catching their connecting flight. On arrival at Munich they are therefore routed via a new upper walkway (Level 06) to the relevant departure level for their connecting flight and directed through security before entering gate areas G and H.
First Class in Dusseldorf
Check-in Lounge
For a first-class start to their journey at Dusseldorf Airport, the exclusive Lufthansa Check-in Area is available to First Class passengers. This is physically and visually separated from the rest of the airport concourse, enabling our customers to enjoy their journey in a relaxed and individual atmosphere from the very first moment. The Area contains four First Class check-in counters, as well as a separate seating area in the First Class lounge design which offers passengers an opportunity to relax in peace and quiet. This new Check-in Area also gives First Class passengers direct and convenient access to the security control.
First Class in Zurich
First Class Lounges
Special services from Zurich Airport: if you are travelling on a Lufthansa or SWISS First Class ticket, you can check in conveniently at the exclusive First Class Check-in Lounge in Terminal 1, straight after leaving your car in the valet parking area.
The SWISS First Class Lounge offers you exclusive services: enjoy fine dining in a pleasant atmosphere or, for longer stays, you can relax or freshen up with a shower in the comfortable relaxation rooms. Individual offices with the latest notebooks and Wi-Fi ensure you can work undisturbed in a quiet environment.
The SWISS Non-Schengen Lounge in Transit Area B is also available to you. First Class customers at Zurich, whose flight departs from Pier A, are escorted personally from the SWISS First Class Lounge to the security control.
The SWISS Arrival Lounge is available for you to relax in if you arrive at Zurich early in the morning after a long flight. Here you can use the comfortable shower rooms to freshen up or simply enjoy a relaxing breakfast.
Limousine Service
An exclusive limousine service is offered to our First Class passengers. If your SWISS, Lufthansa or Austrian Airlines flight is departing from a non-gate position at Zurich or if you have booked an intercontinental flight with SWISS, you will be driven to your aircraft.
Passengers travelling to or from Geneva, who are connecting with a SWISS intercontinental flight at Zurich, will be collected from, or taken directly to, their aircraft if it is parked at a non-gate position.
If you are changing flights at Zurich and have less than 40 minutes to catch your Lufthansa or SWISS connecting flight, you will be driven straight to your aircraft.

Stay awhile in special surroundings: a SWISS First Class Lounge offering a varied range of services is available to our First Class customers at Geneva Airport. Its bright and elegantly designed interior invites you to relax and feel at ease.
First Class passengers departing from Geneva are escorted personally from the First Class Lounge to their gate or taken to their flight by limousine.
First Class in London Heathrow
First Class check-in lobby
A First Class check-in lobby is available for passengers who are continuing their flight in First Class with Lufthansa from Frankfurt, Munich or Dusseldorf and for HON Circle Members, Senators and Star Gold Card holders. The lobby, which is shared with Star Alliance partners Austrian Airlines, TAP Portugal, Croatia Airlines and LOT Polish Airlines, offers you exclusive service and short routes to the aircraft.
Visit our new First Class lobby where you can check in at one of four First Class counters. Then use the direct access from the lobby to the security fast lane. What’s more, you can enjoy a few moments of peace and quiet before departure in the lobby’s elegant waiting area.

First Class Area
At New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport a modern Senator and Business Lounge with an integrated First Class Area invites you to linger. The accommodation stretches over three levels: on Level 3 Lufthansa First Class customers enjoy their stay in exclusive surroundings. Here they have the option of enjoying a delicious pre-flight dinner, so that they can relax and sleep undisturbed on evening flights. The entrance to this 1,472 square metre lounge is located behind the security control.
