The airport is located 12km (8 miles) southwest of Barcelona city centre.
How to get there
From Barcelona city centre, take the Barcelona ring road, with the airport exit via Pata Sur. The airport access road is the Barcelona-Castelldefels C-31 motorway, which connects with the Barcelona-Sitges C-32 motorway. Terminal 2 is undergoing extensive renovation, leading to some changes in service arrangements. Check the official airport website for details.

Access by public transport
Rail:
RENFE's line 10 suburban train links the airport with the city centre Estació de França (tel: (902) 240 202; www.renfe.es/cercanias/barcelona) and intermediate stops (journey time - 32 minutes).
Bus:
Bus: There is an Aerobus service to Plaça de Catalunya, departing from in front of the terminals. Bus 105 departs from Terminals B and C, to El Prat; buses 106 and 46 also depart from Terminals B and C. Bus information is available (tel: 010 (in Spain); www.emt-amb.com) Taxi: Taxi ranks are located outside the terminals (journey time: 25-35 minutes).
