Tickets purchased at a travel agency
If you purchased an electronic ticket or a paper ticket from a travel agency (including online agencies), please contact your travel agent directly. Your travel agent is the responsible party to review and process any refund due.
Tickets purchased directly from Lufthansa
Refund requests for tickets purchased directly from Lufthansa.com, Ticket by Mail, the airport or a Lufthansa city ticket office need to be processed according to the type of ticket. Please check the appropriate section below and click each link for final information.

|If you are requesting a refund for an etix® please complete the online request form.||Paper ticket refund requests, for tickets purchased directly from Lufthansa, must be submitted via mail.
All refunds due will be issued to the original form of payment in accordance with the conditions of the fare type purchased.
Please note some tickets are totally non-refundable, or require a service fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
Information for travel agents
Please process all refunds of ARC/BSP issued tickets via ARC/BSP in accordance with the conditions of refund per fare type sold. More complete information may be found in your GDS pages.
If it is necessary for Lufthansa to process a refund on your travel agency's behalf refund processing fees will apply.
