Reduce waiting time
Sometimes children want to neither have a book read to them nor play a game. Good job that most airports offer plenty of opportunities to amuse them. You can check the websites of your respective airports prior to your flight to get an overview on what there is to do.
Observation terrace
Visit an observation terrace with your children. From there you have a good view of the aircraft taking off and landing.
Play corners
Many airports have specially designated and furnished areas for children to play. Our local staff will be happy to direct you to these areas.
Restaurants
Take a look at one of the airport restaurants. They have set up special play corners for young guests plus a little snack there also does much to lighten young spirits.
Exhibitions and sights
At some airports there are exhibitions that you can visit. Some even have a visitors park.
Lounges
HON Circle Member and First Class travellers may invite one accompanying person and family member (partner and children) flying with them into the First Class Lounges.
Taking the push chair right up to the aircraft
When you fly with Lufthansa you can take your baby‘s push chair right up to your aircraft. So you don't have to check it in as a baggage item. Shortly before you board the aircraft a staff member will take it from you and return it to you after you land.
