The culinary World Cup
Holger Stromberg is currently devoting much of his time to the wellbeing of Germany’s national football team. Since 2007 he has been cooking for the top German players and is an official member of the support staff for the German Football Association. With so much culinary know-how you can be sure that the Germans will cut splendid figures on the field when Germany and the rest of the world once again go football crazy in June. Our passengers can look forward to a new, gastronomic “Summer‘s Fairytale” on board.
Top chef Holger Stromberg, born in Munster in 1972, grew up in a family of restaurateurs with a long-standing tradition. He was raised, as it were, in the kitchen. During his apprenticeship years he cooked with famous star chefs and gained experience in restaurants including "Le Crocodile" in Strasbourg and "Mark’s" in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Munich. At the age of 23 he was awarded one of the coveted Michelin stars, the youngest chef in Germany to hold such an honour.
